Our Take:
My daughter has the Monster High playset and it was cool and rather
compact. This new playset of the Freaky Fusion Catacombs is absolutely
epic! Its three levels tall and holds over a dozen dolls! The playset
is brightly colored and so well sculpted! My daughter has had hours of
fun already with the playset, she can't stop messing with it. This
ties in with the newest Monster High feature film, Freaky Fusion, so
make sure your kids get that and this playset will be their absolute
favorite this holiday season.

INFO: The Radio City Christmas Spectacular, starring the Rockettes, will make its Omaha debut this year at the Orpheum Theater. Audiences will experience the magic of Christmas like never before. In this multi-faceted production, the Rockettes dance their way through an awe-inspiring journey that features a 50-foot LED screen and transports audiences to Times Square and Santa’s Workshop. The Rockettes will debut new numbers, such as “New York at Christmas,” featuring a life-size double-decker bus alongside fan-favorites including the high-energy tap number “The Twelve Days of Christmas.” The show boasts over 300 glamorous costumes including the Rockettes finale costume, “Let Christmas Shine,” which is adorned with 3,000 crystals each, as well as familiar favorites such as “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” which was designed by Vincente Minnelli and has been in the show since its inception in 1933. For more than 85 years, the Rockettes have been known for their unrivaled precision and athleticism – each show they perform more than 300 of their signature eye-high kicks. Our Experience: I was fortunate enough to experience opening day of this show with my wife, daughter and mother in law. I had always wanted to see The Rockettes in person, but I never get out to New York, so I was very excited to see this fun holiday show. My daughter was even more excited at the chance to get all dolled up in a nice dress and do her hair for a proper show, especially a holiday one.
The show truly was a spectacular from start to finish, complete with song, dance, Santa and tons of holiday joy. The Rockettes are truly amazing in person, they're such a sight to behold. I can't imagine how much work goes into what they do. The show managed to cram in quite a few holiday greats, like the Nutcracker Suite, and brought all the bravado of a real broadway show to Omaha, NE. It was a wonderful experience we'll never forget. This is the kind of memory my daughter will hold onto and cherish. This is a fantastic way to celebrate the Christmas season with your loved ones.

OMAHA, NE (August 19, 2014) – MSG Entertainment (MSGE) announces an all new production of the RADIO CITY CHRISTMAS SPECTACULAR starring THE ROCKETTES, which will premiere at the Orpheum Theater when Omaha Performing Arts presents the production November 13 through November 30, 2014. Audiences will have the chance to experience the magic of Christmas like never before. Tickets are on sale now.

The Rockettes will dance their way through an awe-inspiring journey with dynamic scenes, an array of glamorous costumes, dramatic lighting effects, a full size double decker bus and a 50-foot LED screen that will enhance the show with breathtaking new imagery.

The Rockettes are known for their rich history, unrivaled talent, strength, precision and athleticism and have become one of the nation’s most beloved icons. They continue to take the Christmas Spectacular to new heights, dazzling audiences with their performance style, as it continues to be both deceivingly complex and entirely glamorous.
This year’s production will feature a 50-foot LED screen that will transport the audience to Times Square and Santa’s Workshop with Santa and the Rockettes. By incorporating state-of-the-art technology with the Christmas Spectacular’s classic holiday numbers to enhance the production’s breathtaking sets and special effects, this show will immerse audiences in the magic of Christmas in a way only Radio City can deliver.
In addition to fan-favorite scenes, including the high-energy tap number, “The Twelve Days of Christmas,” the Rockettes will debut numbers that will showcase their signature precision dance technique alongside challenging and dynamic choreography.
In one of the most memorable scenes, “New York at Christmas,” the Rockettes will board a life size double-decker tour bus, taking audiences on a guided tour through the streets of New York City. This scene includes show-stopping choreography performed across the landscape of iconic New York City landmarks and culminates in the “crossroads of the world,” Times Square.
Santa Claus will take center stage in two magical scenes: “Magic is There,” in which Santa takes two young brothers on a journey to the North Pole, and “Here Comes Santa Claus,” a number that reveals how Santa can be in multiple places at once. These heartwarming moments highlight the true meaning of Christmas in a way that only Santa himself can convey.
The finale will honor and celebrate the stars of the Christmas Spectacular, the Rockettes. The Rockettes will sparkle from the stage in the finale performance “Let Christmas Shine,” each wearing a costume featuring more than 3,000 crystals.
As the performance comes to a close, audiences will have the opportunity to lend their voices alongside the “Radio City Singers” in an energetic rendition of “Joy to the World.”
Beloved numbers such as “Parade of the Wooden Soldiers,” which continues to set the standard as the signature Rockettes number for precision performance, and “The Living Nativity,” both of which have been performed since the Christmas Spectacular’s inception, still remain a vital part of the show’s core.
In the Christmas Spectacular’s 20-year combined history playing to audiences outside of New York, as well as the 82-year old production at Radio City Music Hall, the show has played to nearly 75 million people. The Christmas Spectacular continues to create memories that audiences have come to treasure, and this year will mark an all new Spectacular experience for Omaha.

Dora and Friends: Into the City! Cartoon Trailer!
Global phenomenon Dora sets off on her next big adventure in Dora and Friends: Into the City!, a brand-new animated preschool series starring the Latina heroine in new adventures, with new friends and a new interactive curriculum, premiering this August on Nickelodeon. The half-hour series features the iconic character Dora living in a city, attending school and at the center of a peer group that works together to give back to the community--having both real-life and magical adventures along the way. Created by Chris Gifford and Valerie Walsh Valdes (Dora the Explorer, Go, Diego, Go!), the series will regularly air weekdays during the preschool block on Nickelodeon. The Dora the Explorer series, which after 14 years remains the most-watched preschool show on TV, will continue to air.
Developed with the support of educational experts and tested by preschoolers themselves, Dora and Friends is set to a contemporary soundtrack of Latin-influenced pop music and features an interactive curriculum focusing on community service, problem solving, emotional skills, Spanish language and Latino culture.

I loved Kids Bop, because it uses kids instead of grown ups and kids are more creative with their voices. I loved that Kids Bop has all the hit songs...all my favorite songs. My favorite song on this CD was safe and sound and I like that song, because it sounds a lot different than the song that is acutally sung and that its sung by a lot of kids. I have noticed that Kids Bop has always put only hit songs that have been put on the radio and kids like these songs..its not like just grown ups like these songs, kids like these. It has my brothers favorite songs and mine..about every song on the CD I love.

There are songs on here that I like from the radio, but I don't necessarily like the people that sing the songs, but when kids sing it I like it better, like Wrecking Ball. I like that it names all the kids that sing the songs. I like a lot of them including the Fox, Royals and Roar.

“Sleeping Beauty” tells the wondrous tale of a princess cursed by an evil fairy, protected by three loving fairies and, ultimately, saved by “true love’s kiss.” Featuring the voice talents of renowned opera singer Mary Costa as Sleeping Beauty and Disney stalwart Eleanor Audley as the evil fairy, Maleficent, the film’s vibrant visuals were created by a team that included Milt Kahl and Ollie Johnston, two of Disney’s legendary Nine Old Men and an Academy Award®-nominated score, 1959, adapted from the incandescent music of Peter Tchaikovsky. “Sleeping Beauty” is the sixteenth animated feature in the Disney animated features canon and was the last animated feature produced by Walt Disney to be based upon a fairy tale.
